After a long wait, Honda has finally launched its new electric scooter Activa e in India, in which you will get a long range of 102 km and many modern features. Honda launched its two new e-scooters Activa e and QC1, which have been given a very premium design and modern look.
This electric scooter was shown as a concept at the Japan Mobility Show a few months ago and the recently held EICMA 2024, which was named SC e. Now the brand has unveiled its new electric scooter and it has been launched in the country.
Honda Activa e Motor, battery and performance
The new Honda Activa e scooter gets a 1.5kWh battery pair which will be available with removable and swappable feature. This battery can be swapped on Honda’s all-new Power Pack e Station. Honda has given the IDC range of this new Activa e as 102 km, which is going to be very good for your daily use.
If we talk about the motor of this new Activa e, then you will get a swingarm-mounted motor that generates 6kW of power and 22NM of torque, with which this electric scooter goes up to a top speed of 80 kmph. Also, this electric scooter takes only 7.3 seconds to reach a top speed of 60 kmph from zero. This is a very good performance for this type of electric scooter.
The twee Honda Activa e variant will come with sleek new designs and one super-comfortable leading edge being rubbed with the telescopic mono-shock setup. There should be two versions available for this model of e-scooter, Standard and Honda Roadsense Duo.
