In the new avatar of the Indie scooter, you now get to see a chain drive system in place of a belt drive, which is not really seen in electric scooters.
Sales and Expansion Plans
Around sales and market position, River has sold a total of 3000 units of Indie electric two-wheeler till now as per reports. After the price change, this electric scooter falls in the same category as scooters like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, and Ola S1 Pro. River intends to have 25 outlets across the country by March 2025.
